Alisdair Macindoe is a multidisciplinary choreographer with an interest in extending the boundaries of choreographic practice. His work spans dance, sound, electronics and coding, and explores automated dance and artificial intelligence; new techonology; trans-humanism and identity in the age of narcissism.
Alisdair has received 5 Green Room Awards; a Helpmann Award and a New York Performing Arts Award ‘Bessie’. He was Resident Director for Lucy Guerin Inc (2019); a Dancenorth NO-SHOW resident and a previous recipient of the Peggy Van Praagh (Ausdance) and Sidney Myer Foundation Fellowships.
